In September 2023, I left my position as the Head of Planning at the Government of Jersey to form Duffell Planning Ltd.
Over my 12 years with the Government and as the former Head of Planning, I gained invaluable insight into the Jersey planning system and formed excellent relations within the industry. I am able to draw upon this knowledge and my connections to support homeowners and developers navigate the system.
I graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture (University College London) with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Town and Country Planning, Architecture and the Built Environment. I went on to gain a Diploma in Planning, specialising in the conversion of redundant office space to residential.
Upon graduation, I joined the London office of DTZ-Debenham Thorpe as a graduate planner. I lived in London for 13 years; then moved to Oxfordshire when I started our family. In 2011 we relocated to Jersey’s sunny shores.
In 2012, I joined the Planning Department based at South Hill.
I am a Chartered Town Planner - member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
